Previously on Futari wa Pretty Cure Dragon...
Mina and Jubei were closing up shop for the night. The phone rang. It was Goemon wanting to talk with Mina.
"What do you want, Goemon? The store's closing. It's not about the store? It's something else? What is it? Nobunaga Oda's planning another caper? And he's going after your store? I'll let Principal Mazda know right away. Thank you. Goodbye."
Mina hung up as Jubei yelled, "MINA! ARE YOU FINISHED YET?"
Mina said, "Yes, Mr. Yagyu, as a matter of fact, I had just finished when the phone rang. It was our old friend Goemon Ishikawa, tipping us off that he had caught wind of another of Nobunaga Oda's schemes."
Jubei said, "Name the where and when."
"I don't know when, but I know where."
Jubei said, "Tell me."
Mina said, "Fictional Devices R Us."

"Il furto con scasso - The Burglary"
Principal Mazda was dressed for her job. She checked her emails to see if she got anything important.
Turns out, she did.
Today, she got a message from her old friend Mina Takada. She opened it.
The following is a full text of the message:
As you may be well aware, this is an important message. Our old enemy, Nobunaga Oda, is planning a burglary at Fictional Devices R Us, run by our good friend Goemon Ishikawa. This could be a job for Pretty Cure. Please let them know, and hurry!
Signed, Mina Takada
Principal Mazda stared in shock. "This is just not right," she said. "I mean, Nobunaga Oda sinking so low as to burglarize a store full of trinkets that require you read the instructions before you use them? That's another line crossed, right there."
As she left for Ichiban High, she said, "I'm going to let Pretty Cure know about this. Nobunaga Oda's scheme must not succeed!"
During homeroom, it happened.
"Attention: will Ryan Lee, Susan Chan, Kelly Chiba, and Rica Watson please report to Principal Mazda's office for a very important discussion?"
Miss Sampson said, "All right, you two, what did you do this time?"
Rica said, "We didn't do anything, honest!"
Miss Sampson said, "Well, someone must've done something, because it sounds urgent. I don't really think either of you did anything. Just see what the principal wants."
Rica said, "I certainly hope someone's dying…"
She and Ryan then left the classroom.
"It's a good thing someone's not dying!"
Principal Mazda said, "That may be, Rica, but something just about as serious as murder is in the works, courtesy of Nobunaga Oda."
Ryan said, "Tell me about it."
Principal Mazda said, "He's planning the burglary of Fictional Devices R Us, and given that you have to read the instructions before using certain of the trinkets there this is very serious business."
Kelly said, "Business as usual, if I'm not mistaken--we just run over there, beat the shit out of Oda, and the store is secure, right?"
Principal Mazda said, "If it was anybody else, you wouldn't be mistaken. However, this is Nobunaga Oda we're dealing with. You're underestimating him even after fighting him a couple of times."
Kelly said, "Great, now she's going to lecture us about how much more seriously we should take this."
Principal Mazda said, "I should know; I knew how dangerous he was from the first time Mina and I fought him. The last time he tried to burglarise Mr. Yagyu's computer shop, we were able to put him out of business before he could put Mr. Yagyu out of business. That's how knowledgeable we were of how dangerous this Nobunaga Oda character is."
Susan said, "Oh, we're well aware of how dangerous Oda is. Why, the last time we fought, he nearly put me and Ryan out of commission and damn near killed Eileen. It took Kelly's intervention to save us all from that madman."
Ryan said, "With all due respect, Principal Mazda, we're not stupid enough that we can't tell how much of a threat Nobunaga Oda is."
Principal Mazda said, "I understand that perfectly well, Mr. Lee, and I'm glad you and Susan understand the gravity of the situation anyone would be facing if they crossed paths unprepared with Oda."
Ryan said, "Thank you, Principal Mazda."
"That said, did your mother teach you domestic skills?"
Ryan said, "She certainly did."
"Well, then I must hope you clean your uniform after each fight."
Ryan said, "Of course I do, Principal Mazda. I do 75% of my dorm's laundry. Susan does the other 25%. In any case, I'm smart enough that I have a few spare uniforms in case any of them get scuffed up before the school's designated laundry day."
Rica said, "So do I. In fact, they look quite the same."
Principal Mazda said, "For a martial artist, knowing how to clean up your clothes if they get scuffed up during a fight is important for everyone, even if you do have spare uniforms. Enough about that, I'll have Eileen spy on Oda after school, so we can figure out the other sordid details on his planned caper."
Rica said, "I'd like to know myself what he's really up to; it's nice you're sending someone to spy on him."
Principal Mazda said, "And Eileen said she doesn't mind the danger of spying on such a creature as Oda. Well, I've said everything I called you up here to tell you. Well, except for three words. You may go."
Ryan and Susan curtsied, and Rica and Kelly bowed, before leaving.
Meanwhile, the most wanted burglar in Millennium City, Takera Midorikawa, was in the middle of an escape attempt following the burglary of a jewelry store. He was making his escape on foot, tailed by cops. As they closed in on him, he used his previously-unknown psychic powers on them, throwing them several yards backwards without so much as lifting a finger.
Horrified at his power potential, he climbed the brick wall in front of him as the officers got up. One of them, named Carradine, asked, "What the hell was that?"
Another, named Jackson, said, "Just another psychic psycho, sir!"
A third, named Grissom, put on his sunglasses as he quipped, "The force will be strong with him, all right."
Eileen was posing as a statue in the streets as she tailed Oda. He kept looking behind him, but he could only see a pool of water, among a bunch of other objects.
As she morphed back into a humanoid, she said, "Confound it! if only he hadn't reacted when he did! Now I've lost him, dammit."
She decided to search for him by foot. As she left an alleyway, she nearly got run over by a scared-looking tough guy.
She asked, "Who the hell was that?"
"OH SHIT OH SHIT OH SHIT OH SHIT OH SHIT OH SHIT!"
Takera kept right on running. "HOW THE HELL DID I DO WHAT I DID WITHOUT SO MUCH AS LIFTING A FINGER!? THE BOSS IS GONNA BE VERY ANGRY WHEN HE FINDS OUT THAT I'M WHATEVER THE FUCK KIND OF FREAK I AM!"
"You're an ESPer."
Takera turned to face a snappy-looking man in a formal kimono with hakama. He asked, "WHO THE HELL ARE YOU!?"
"Please allow me to introduce myself," the man said. "I'm a man of wealth and taste."
Takera's jaw dropped. "OF FREAKING COURSE YOU KNOW WHO THE HELL I AM! YOU'RE THE GODDAM DEVIL!"
The man said, "A thousand apologies for making you assume such things about me. I am actually a descendant of Nobunaga Oda. I'm pretty sure you're wanting to control your psychic powers now that you've found out about them, no?"
Takera said, "HELL YEAH!"
"Please, calm down. I merely want to help. If there's one thing I can't stand, it's seeing psychics who can't control their powers. I consider it a public service to find such people and train them to control their powers."
Takera said, "All right. I'll become your disciple, son of Oda."
The man said, "There's one thing I would like you to do in return. I'll be doing it tomorrow at 4:44PM."
Eileen laughed mischievously as she listened to all the sordid details through one of her ballet shoes (no kidding!). "Never mess with the land of martial arts. I knew he knew I knew I would lose him somewhere down the line, so I decided to do something clever.
"Think your caper is flawless? Think again."
Once Oda finished talking about the burglary, she removed the memory card from her ballet slipper and put it back on before returning to Ichiban High.
A flashback is then shown depicting Eileen throwing a bug onto Oda behind his back upon intercepting him.
As she reentered Ichiban High through the gate, she said, "Wait until Pretty Cure hears I got smart!"
Principal Mazda said, "Yes, I'm afraid so. It seems, if I'm to believe what Eileen has reported, that Oda plans to strike today, at 4:44PM. Worse, he seems to have an accomplice."
Rica said, "I'm scared to know who he is."
Principal Mazda said, "Takera Midorikawa, the Gringo Killer. Apparently, he's gone psychic in addition to psycho."
Ryan said, "We have to stop him, before it's too late!"
"Well put, Mr. Lee! You may go!"
Once again, Ryan and Susan curtsied, and Rica and Kelly bowed, before leaving the office. Principal Mazda called Mina.
"Hello, Mina. Yes, I just told Pretty Cure what Eileen told me. I'm sure they'll secure the store even if it takes all night. They are dedicated to their duties, after all, and among them is protecting us, our friends, and other allies of the land of martial arts we protected nearly four decades ago. I just hope they can make it to Fictional Devices R Us by 4:44."
Two men teleported into Fictional Devices are us when the hour hand was at 4, the minute hand was at 44, and the second hand was at 44.
One man was Nobunaga Oda, a longtime nemesis of Pretty Cure and one of two currently on their hit list.
The other was the most wanted burglar in all of Millennium City--Takera Midorikawa, the Gringo Killer.
Oda said, "See? Easy as pie. All we needed was for you to learn how to teleport. Now comes the hard part."
Takera asked, "What is it, Master Oda?"
Oda said, "Finding Goemon Ishikawa and killing him like he should've been killed centuries ago!"
Takera asked, "How will we do it?"
Oda said, "He's holed up in his office. We just barge in, and you force him to think about how to divide by zero."
Takera said, "Right. Scan him. Got it."
Oda and Takera walked to the door and opened it, only for the alarm to sound. Takera yelled, "OH, SHIT!"
"SOMEBODY RIGGED THE DOOR!"
"IT WAS YOUR IDEA THAT WE OPEN IT!"
"I THOUGHT IT WASN'T POSSIBLE TO TRIP THE ALARM BY OPENING HIS DOOR! AND BESIDES, IT WAS UNLOCKED!"
"MAYBE IT WAS UNLOCKED FOR A REASON!"
"THAT'S USING YOUR BRAIN!"
"WHAT DO WE DO NOW!?"
"WE FIND GOEMON!"
"I DON'T THINK SO!"
Ryan and Susan moved in sync and kicked Oda and Takera in the head from behind. Ryan continued, "Goemon Ishikawa has left the building. We sent him out and set up a complex alarm that's rigged to go off when a door is opened."
Oda yelled, "DAMMIT! IT'S THOSE PUNKS FROM PRETTY CURE!"
Takera yelled, "WHAT DO WE DO, MASTER ODA?"
Oda yelled, "KILL THEM, FOR GOD-DAMN-IT-TO-HELL'S SAKE!"
Takera yelled, "SURE! TWO KIDS IN SCHOOLGIRL UNIFORMS SHOULDN'T BE MUCH TROUBLE TO DEAL WITH! RIGHT?"
"How about four kids?"
"Three of who are in schoolgirl uniforms, in fact!"
Kelly emerged from behind one of the shelves, and Rica made herself known among the shopping crowd she had infiltrated. Rica continued, "I hope you three brought your transformers with you."
Ryan, Susan, and Kelly readied their transformers as Susan said, "Never leave the dormitory without them, remember?"
Rica said, "Go get 'em!"
"Dual fighting spirit!"
"Bodyguard, come forth!"
"The golden warrior, I am Cure Dragon!"
"The silver warrior, I am Cure Fortune!"
"Together we're Pretty Cure!"
"Evil warriors of ill fortune…"
"We shall send you packing!"
"Protecting my friends, I am Cure Fang! Let those who worship evil's might beware my power! The bodyguard's light!"
Then Takera turned to face Cures Dragon and Fortune. Cure Dragon said, "If you weren't psychic right now, Susan and I would clobber your arse!"
"What's the matter?" Takera asked. "CHICKEN?"
It was the wrong thing to say. Cure Dragon wasn't going to let himself be seen as weak or afraid simply for being somewhat effeminate. Storming toward Takera, he thundered, "NOBODY! CALLS ME! CHICKEN!"
He punched him several times, dodging bolts of low voltage electricity. He then kicked him down, picked him up by the shirtfront, and started punching his face aggressively until Cure Fortune yelled, "THAT'S ENOUGH! HE'S HAD IT!"
That was enough to stop Cure Dragon. Takera said, "Just… turn me in already."
Cure Dragon said, "I'll do it. But first, I'm going to deal with the punk who used you until I punched some sense into you."
He then threw him down and said, "Oh, and you might want to shield your eyes, Mr. Midorikawa."
Cure Fang said, "The path of the righteous man and defender is beset on all sides by the iniquities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he, who in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper, and the father of lost children.
"And I will execute great vengeance upon thee with furious anger, you who would attempt to poison and destroy my brothers and sisters; and you will know that I am Chiba the Bodyguard when I lay my vengeance upon thee!
"PRETTY CURE! LIGHT OF JUSTICE!"
The blinding light struck Oda. Cure Fang said, "Nothing like a temporarily blinding light to stop a burglary. He's all yours."
Cures Dragon and Fortune turned to face the door. "GOLD THUNDER!"
"SILVER THUNDER! We who are different as day and night…"
"Do join together and combine our might!"
"PRETTY CURE METAL PUNCH!"
Oda was sent flying out of the store through the revolving door. After Ryan and Susan detransformed, they picked up Takera and carried him out of the store.
Sheriff Henry Watson watched as Ryan, Susan, Kelly, and Rica walked in with Takera in tow. He asked, "Who is he?"
Rica said, "Takera Midorikawa, the Gringo Killer. He was badly shaken after discovering that he had psychic powers. I highly suspect Nobunaga Oda gave him those powers just before meeting with him. In any case, he had lost so much sense that one of us had to punch it back into him before turning him in. Personally, I recommend making certain his mental state's all right before any attempt to try him."
Sheriff Watson said, "Well, that's certainly enough to increase the price already on Oda's head. Anyway, here we have $100,000."
Ryan said, "There's four of us; that should amount to $25,000 per party."
Sheriff Watson said, "That's reasonable enough."
Counting the bills and splitting them accordingly into four piles, he handed the bills to the four and said, "If any of you manage to apprehend any more crooks around this city, please be sure to bring them here, all right? If you can do it, of course."
Kelly said, "Sir, yessir!"
Susan said, "Thanks, Sheriff."
As the four left, Sheriff Watson said, "Have a nice day!"
